Alice Linahan along with the Voices Empower team is excited to endorse Mike Brucia for Texas State Representative District 64 in Denton County.

Mike Brucia has garnered support from truly Consistent Conservative names from across the state such as…..

As Donna Garner warned us about….. “Texas voters have a problem“.  ”

“We conservatives must be able to distinguish which Texas legislators are “the real thing” before we vote in the  primaries.”

Most of the Republican legislators who ran in the last election on Nov. 2, 2010, campaigned as “conservatives.”  However, how many of them voted as conservatives during the 82nd Legislative Session?

In other words, how many of them put actions before rhetoric?

Myra Crownover who supported Joe Straus for the Speaker of the House in 82ND LEGISLATIVE SESSION proved that we were correct about both she and Joe. They are Conservative in Name Only.

TEXAS EAGLE FORUM’S 2011 SCORECARD

To our rescue has come Texas Eagle Forum with its 2011 Legislative Scorecard.

Thanks to the hard work of Texas Eagle Forum (TEF), we no longer have to ponder who is “the real thing” and who is a “fake conservative.”

On 8.2.11, TEF released a quantitative analysis of a wide spectrum of votes cast during the 82nd Legislative Session and has come up with a percentile rating for each member of the Texas Legislature.

What I like about TEF’s scorecard is that the ratings are based upon a broad range of issues that are among the most important to the majority of Texans:

Sonogram Bill, Photo I. D., Defunding of Planned Parenthood, Sanctuary Cities Ban, Spending the Rainy Day Fund, Constitutional Convention (Con-Con), Protection from EPA Lawsuits, TSA and the Anti-Groping Bill, Homeschoolers, Home Owners Association Oversight, Real I. D., Bullying, More Bureaucracy, School Mental Health and Suicide Programs, Big Brother Is Watching, Cost of ObamaCare, Cockfighting, Summer Nutrition Program, Tax Incentives for Green Vehicles, Health Care Compact, Major Event Trust Fund, and Gun Rights.

(*Of course, not every vote that was cast during the 82nd Legislative Session could be considered in TEF’s ratings.)

Myra Crownover scored: 33% Conservative Rating.  When I was in school that was a BIG FAT “F”

Therefore I will be voting in the Texas Primary on May 29th for MIKE BRUCIA!!  I am tired of people running as Conservatives and proving over and over again they are not Conservative Republicans!!

The Texas Republican convention process is now underway. Please do not let this opportunity pass you by. Some counties are holding precinct conventions and others are not.  Attending the precinct convention is the first step in the convention process so it is important for you to attend.

Most counties are bypassing the precinct conventions and holding either the Senatorial District Convention (larger urban areas) or County Convention either on Saturday, April 21.

It is important that many of you become delegates to the Republican Party of Texas Convention in Fort Worth, June 7-9, 2012, so you must participate in the earlier processes in order to qualify to become a delegate.
